I've had a tank not long ago but so far it's perfect. I used to use a keg with a float valve but the problem is that it's a lot harder to keep fresh. I often smelled dirty aquarium water after a short time. I use it for my hydroponic plants and just wanted something sterile to hold water where dust and other things can't get in. I was pleasantly surprised when the tank arrived. That's higher than expected. The photo showed a shorter tank and I really wanted a taller style like the iSpring version. When he arrived tall and thin, I was very happy. I chose this one because it was a little cheaper, had more reviews, and had a better overall rating than iSpring. Both had great reviews anyway. I have a 1/4" RODI line that comes with a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter. Then a 3/8" Y adapter so I can use 3/8" for a can output higher flow. It's much easier to fill 5 gallons at a time from a 3/8" line. I was also told that you can use a check valve on the tank inlet. I just decided to use one instead of a faucet To use 3/8" hose with a valve and a small piece of hose on the end. It just makes it easier to fill my tanks with water. Honestly I couldn't be happier.
