I thought that the many buttons would come in handy, so that's why I bought it, but in the end, I didn't use any of them at all. Either I couldn't get used to it, or they weren't as necessary as I had thought they would be. The fact that the vendor promptly refunded the money for the items, citing the fact that Logitech always offers a refund in the event of a mistake, was one of the many things about Logitech that left me feeling extremely satisfied. As a result, I did not suffer a single loss, and I anticipate purchasing their G502 in the near future.
