Defective zipper cover: Danger for the child!

Unfortunately the fabric intended to cover the zipper puller is NOT effective. The child can easily close the zipper in their mouth. My 6 month old ended up removing some of the color from it and I am concerned that the baby may choke if the clasp comes loose. If that could be fixed, sleeping bags would be very good: the two-way zip is very comfortable and the fabric is soft and very light for balmy summer nights. I contacted the company but received no response.
