It was terrifying and nice to see how effective this stuff is! The first time I used it, yes it was pretty rough. But it was also magically invigorating. My skin was tingling and now I don't really feel clean until I rub my body with Salux. I can't tell if it's softened a bit since first use or if I'm just getting used to it. The bumps on the back of my hands are 90% gone, as are the little red bumps on my cheeks. My skin tone is more even and I dare say I'm glowing now! Yes, I use it on my face especially to get rid of dead skin around my nose. I just pay a little more attention to gentleness and avoid the delicate eye area. If you hurt the skin, then rub it too hard. I've only used it with water, but I've found that soap and shower gel help it glide over my body more easily. It's been about a month and my skin looks amazing. I don't cream at all. This is the only thing I've changed in my routine, so I can honestly say it's down to using Salux regularly. Also, I don't itch like crazy all winter, even though the air is very, very dry. Make sure you are buying a genuine product as there are many fakes out there.
