I've always used Linksys routers, both wired and wireless. I've also used D-Link and Belkin. I've always preferred Linksys. I bought one and was thrilled! For some days. Excellent performance. Then he stopped working. I couldn't get all my cars on it. Then I couldn't achieve anything. Reboots didn't work. I had to restore factory settings. Worked for a while but when I made changes to the configuration it stopped working. Firmware update did not help. None of my wireless stations could detect it anymore. Even after I completely reset it. I traded it for another through Revain. I connected it. I haven't messed with it at all. I took the laptop and successfully installed the appropriate Linksys SRX400 card. Nothing. None of my other wireless or Linksys connected laptops, computers etc. have been able to detect a signal. Then suddenly. The laptop with the SRX400 card recognized it and connected but said it was NOT connected. Even the wireless network icon has a red cross on it. I surfed the internet through my wireless router for a few minutes and then it got disconnected. I spent a few hours trying everything. I am sending this back. I reconnected my old Linksys Wireless. No problem. I think a bad batch of these routers hit the shelves. Otherwise they just suck.
