I was told that of all the additives, Rislone was the only one that actually does much of anything.I've driven many old cars in the past, so have tried the gamut of additives to stop this problem or that leak, etc. And rarely seen results.Maybe the problem is just that I was told to try Rislone, then found there are several different products, and both the descriptions here, and on the Rislone site itself, aren't particularly detailed on what problems they work for.This did not improve, in the slightest, the issue of burning through oil in an '04 vehicle that suddenly developed the problem as it approached 175k miles. Haven't noticed a bit of different since using it. Could have poured it in the garbage can and gotten the same effect.
