I would say that this router is either for blunt blondes or advanced boys who love Linux and scripts. On the one hand, the router has good hardware, a bunch of settings and applications. At the same time, it is a pleasure to set up - any blonde can do it. On the other hand, the settings are too simplified - as a result, it is impossible to work with the router, but only to play. Which is simply unacceptable for a router with such a price. I have had a Draytek 2130vn bug-free for 6 years. Which pulled about 20 consumers with torrents, NAS SIP phones, and so on. The only problem was - weak WiFi - which I successfully solved through BRIDGE with a cheap Chinese router. And now the devil took me to peck at advertising. In general, I passed in 3 days. On the other hand, Merlin introduces additional glitches. With him, samba worked for me only in guest mode - otherwise, passwords were not accepted, winda saw only if the path was written directly, but did not give access to folders. Iβll add If the router cost 3000, the estimate would be different But for the top router only 1
