Useful as a storage net but won't deter a pesky dog โโ
Quite an interesting idea and nice to add storage to the car. However, if you're hoping to keep your dog out of the front seats, this won't work. A lot depends on your front seat design, but I've tried this on three vehicles (RAM 1500, Sienna Van and Prius) and there are gaps between the mesh and the seats. The dog can easily squeeze through because the mesh is very flexible and not stiff at all. If you have a well behaved dog you probably won't have a problem, but again you don't need a barrier.
