Small holes allow you to turn it off with a pencil
The switch I bought is for my security light and my guests (and I sometimes) accidentally turn it off because I thought it be a hall light. It was the only thing you didn't have to take off to turn off the switch, allowing me to change a lightbulb or turn the light off on purpose.
