If you're interested in mid-century design but aren't willing to shell out $200 for a coat or hat hanger, this coat hanger is for you. Although it's certainly not the same (I've seen both in person). I still like this one a lot. This certainly makes it difficult to justify the difference in cost to another. Although the colors are different, they are bold and playful and serve as an activating element in my relatively colorless bedroom (wooden bed, bedside table, etc.). The fit and finish are obviously not up to par, but totally acceptable to me considering it still looks pretty good, feels sturdy and all other items are 'hang-it-all' style seems to be superior. revenge Basically, you can't expect absolute perfection at this price point, and if you do, that's your problem, not the product's. If you agree, I think you will be very happy with this hanger. Here's what you need to know: 1. You need to make sure you have a gap of about 1.5mm across your door. When in doubt, put a nickel or quarter on the door and try to shut it. If you can't do this, it won't work for you.2. In the first product photo, the balls look a little lighter than the real thing, as it is a product photo with a lot of light on glossy paint. Check out my photos or scroll through the photos of Revain products to see the actual color. It's pretty close.2. These are smooth round hanging balls. If the item doesn't have a loop for hanging or is made of very smooth material, it may not stay in place - e.g. B. towels, silk robes, etc. This is not a design flaw, this is exactly what you have to deal with if you want this style. So this might not be the best solution for the bathroom if e.g. bathrobes etc. don't have hanging loops (personally I hate towels without hanging loops for exactly this reason, but that's another review). If you need a more secure grip, look for hooks that are "hookier". For my purposes I used it for hats and it worked like a charm.3. You might want to buy shims or bumpers for a tight fit: my only "complaint" is that the kit didn't come with a couple of foam shims to line the inside where the metal snaps onto the door frame. All doors are not the same width and do not have flat surfaces. It doesn't cost much to pick them up, and for most, finding the right fit without hesitation makes a world of difference. However, I consider this a nitpick as it is a lot for the price. With things like this, you always have to intervene a little so that everything runs as it should. I don't think it's relevant enough to deduct a star. It ended up being less work/inconvenience than what I would have to do to drill a stationary version of this into a wall and ended up being just as durable. Be wise to order some pillows/pillows as well. The stem is just over half an inch wide so 1/2 "closet bumpers" (which is what I used) or felt pads work well.(See my photos for example) I bought these a while ago and im Trash cans are tucked away, and they come in incredibly handy in a number of situations like this. They cost a dime, make people a lot happier, and I see them being used regularly in other products are included at a similar price Don't risk negativity with such a great item for pennies.
