As a "collector" of earphones, they truly have the best sound I have ever bought. With 6 BA in each ear, the AS12 not only defines the tonal qualities of each instrument, but almost every one of them stands out on its own! As a drummer, I appreciate the low frequency response of the kick and bass, but most in-ear headphones make mixing difficult unless you use the Aviom bass cancellation system to muddy the waters. The AS12s give me a clean sound without the hassle of EQ adjustments and my drums have never sounded better! I wish I had known about the KZ a long time ago as I plan to buy a few more of these and will probably buy an AS16 next time! It would be foolish not to buy you such a set!
