False advertising. They look like Swedish kitchen towels in the photo and are advertised as such, but are actually not Swedish kitchen towels. They are shaped like a Swedish kitchen towel but are actually a cheaper synthetic thin sponge material. Authentic Swedish kitchen towels are cardboard strength when dry and a more durable spongy material when wet that will withstand multiple machine washes before wearing out. They don't stand up to washing, are less durable when cleaned and tear more easily when pressed (a real Swedish kitchen towel doesn't). I will not buy these again.
