Insanely thin and the pillowcase isn't an "envelope "

The sheets are so thin it seems to me that every drop of the accident literally soaks the mattress unless you lay on a more waterproof one cover (you know, it's been in the wash for several days and you forgot to turn it on...) and I have to fold the sheets in half so it's super cozy. The pillowcase is open, which we all know with a toddler, the cover will come off if it's not an envelope style.
