daughter loves it!
She is 7 years old and using a snap hook for the first time. The carpet isn't painted, so she has to consult the instructions, count the squares, and compare the different colored symbols to the legend. The ones I remember making as a kid had colors on the rug so you could just take the yarn and attach it. So it will take a little longer. It's pretty meticulous and detailed, so it's not a big deal. But if you're buying for a younger child, it can be a little tricky and they might lose interest. We can't wait to see the finished pillow!
