These 100% Cotton Terry Kitchen Dish Cloths are nice looking but do have some problems. The cloths are almost too soft to be useful. Yes, they are 100% terry cloth but that only means that they don't absorb liquids well until the cloth itself is wet, in a dry state they just move the liquid around that you want to mop up. The "new" size is 12" x 12" and that's really a nice size for a kitchen cloth. Once they go through the dryer they shrink just a small amount and that was a nice surprise. There isn't quite enough roughness to the surface to be anything special for scrubbing. Wiping the counters and general light duty around the kitchen will be good jobs for these dish cloths but I'm not having much luck with cleaning the drip pans and burners on my gas range. Still getting out the plastic scrubby.
