We were delighted with the look and quality of the swing itself. We hung it on August 6th, using only the materials that came with it. The only people using the swing were two 6 year olds who weighed about 40 pounds each and a 3 year old who weighed about 30 pounds. So the max swing weight at any one time was around 110 pounds, but typically around 70 pounds. On September 26, one of the black straps holding the swing set broke and they fell to the ground along with the children. It didn't break anywhere near the connector or any part of the medal - just the black ribbon broke and broke. It was high so we don't know if it cracked for a while or not even though the swing was only 7.5 weeks long. Luckily the kids weren't swinging too high at that point and the parents were nearby.
