I love the Strathmore papers!
I have always used medium weight 300 series paper for my portraits but wanted to try something with a smooth surface for finer detail. This paper is wonderful. Much heavier than the 300 series (which weighs 80# and has always been great) and slightly whiter but not brilliant white. I honestly don't know which shade to choose. After over 30 years of drawing on 300 series paper, it was exciting to try something new. I was happy with the end result and will continue to use it for small portraits to get the fine details I like. You really can't go wrong with the Strathmore Papers!
