Due to illness and advancing age, my child has become weaker in recent months, slips and has difficulty getting up from a sitting or lying position. I trimmed her paws just before buying the boots and that helped a little but not enough. I ordered the ankle boots with skepticism after reading many reviews about these ankle boots as well as some other brands. I am very happy to report that these booties are making a huge difference. She didn't like that they were on their feet the first time, but she fully appreciated the increased stability they offered. They also offer undreamt-of advantages from a hygienic point of view. I highly recommend these boots! This review is NOT part of a promotion etc. I will be purchasing an additional set of 4 to have on hand. By the way, I measured her paws and counted for one size.
