I was sure the negative reviews were just unlucky few or people being overly critical. If only I had heeded their warnings. I was very excited to use it when it arrived. When I picked it up to try it on, I noticed that there was a tear in the front near the chin. Very disappointing. I decided to put it on to see how it felt to know if I should just get a replacement or if a refund would be required. I immediately realized how thin and fragile the plastic the helmet was made of was. It was obvious that the replacement would most likely arrive broken or break relatively quickly. This thing should have the word FRAGILE written on the side. While trying on the helmet I felt a sharp pain in my head. I found the design makes it so that your hair is caught in the band and pulled out with the slightest movement. It was incredibly amazing as my hair isn't even half an inch long! It's a sad day. I had high expectations as Jackson was a well respected brand. I think those days are over.
