I bought a size 14 Husky for 13 years. He plays the role of Linus and we bought it to match the cartoon version of Charlie Brown's Christmas outfit that Linus wore. My son didn't even try them on because they arrived dirty from obvious previous wear. The legs have been tucked in a few times to be shorter for those who have their worms. The biggest problem is they ripped about 1 inch at the knee! They have definitely been worn and played with. The hole is not a defect in the fabric, it is clearly a container with rough edges.
