This is the third purchase of this device.
We are using this device to connect a Zebra parallel thermal barcode label printer to a USB port. This is the third install and it worked great in any case. First install was on XP now upgraded to Win 7. Second install was straight to Win 7 and now last install was on a new Win 8.1 machine. No drivers were required when installing Win 7 or Win 8.1. It was true plug-in play. You must turn on the printer when connecting the USB cable as it needs power from the printer. I will look for this particular device again if I ever need to install an outdated printer.
