When it arrived I could tell it was a good quality/luxury brand judging by the packaging. If you receive this as a gift, you will be happy to open it! The straightener also comes with its own leather travel case, which is a nice touch and looks good as a plus. I've used different straighteners and I'm always curious to try a new one to see if it really is the best. While this is one of the most expensive straighteners I've ever had, it wasn't necessarily the best. The straightener was easy to use and the controls were easy to navigate which was a plus. One thing I noticed is that I couldn't straighten my hair as quickly as I could with my mains. At the same time, I felt like I had to go through the pieces a few more times to get rid of small bumps. Overall this is a very good straightener that gets a 5 for looks but overall I would give it a top rating. 4 with comparable (better) products at a lower price.
