I know of several candle making kits. I also know about candle making. This is a starter kit but lacks some basic tools. The biggest advantage of this kit over others available is the ample supply of 4 pounds of soy wax. I used soy wax in this kit and it burns clean, dries evenly and smells nice. Most kits contain between 16 ounces and 2 pounds of wax. This large stash is a really good start to candle making. The set includes wicks, wooden wicks, crucibles, wick stickers and wick holders. Instructions are included with the kit. Other kits include a crucible, thermometer, dyes, flavorings, warning labels, molds, and more. However, a reduction in the amount of paraffin produced is often observed. It would be helpful for the user to further explore how to make candles to ensure complete safety as the instructions are brief. Good quality material received. The set is expertly assembled. This would be a nice gift, but the user needs a Crucible. Suggested Improvements - Crucible Option -
