I bought this mic specifically to record audio for my podcast and it works like a DREAM. Simple plug and play interface with adjustable leg pop screen included. The tripod is nice and sturdy and can be adjusted to a comfortable height for your height. Speaking into the microphone instead of into it provides the best sound quality. Very soft, rich sound, not tinny and not hoarse. A little reverberation, but nothing that a little expansion of the recording space wouldn't fix. (I literally put a pillow under my laptop and that solved the problem.) Great mic, very good value for the money, great entry-level gear for podcasting, voice acting, recording vocals.
