A bit smaller than I envisioned when viewing it. Strong chain, but it is silver, so will tarnish.
I generally avoid silver jewelry for my wife, because I am the silver polishing person in our house and sterling looks great when it's shiny, but it doesn't stay shiny. This looked like a very pretty pendant and it is, it's just smaller than I expected. My photos show the pendant with an American dime and a quarter for size comparison. It seems well made and is very pretty. We will jiust have to see how well the silver stays free of tarnish.
