Only works on one door turn
This door handle is exactly the same as the key, it only works on a specific door turn and locked position. It is not interchangeable from right to left and inside to out like a regular door knob, it only works one way. It also works the other way around, as long as you don't mind turning everything upside down and backwards. If your door rotation and lock orientation are correct then this is a pretty good door knob. But you have a 50/50 chance it has to be mounted upside down or backwards for it to work properly.
