Review on 💧 Culligan Reverse Osmosis Filter Membrane - Optimize Water Purity by Angel Gibson

I bought this kit for a Culligan 82 unit thinking it would be compatible. The reverse osmosis filter ended up being too long with no o-ring for me to secure the top cap. I had to cut the nylon end of the bottom of the filter about 3/16 inch to allow the lid to close properly. I noticed that there was a demarcation on the nylon end that originally looked like an extra insert in the tube, but couldn't be detached from the rest of the nylon tube, so I had to shorten it by snipping it off. I don't know why they didn't have this short end with insert and detachable to make the knot universal for a shorter canister. The manufacturers of these replacement filters do not list the Culligan units that fit them in the description, the C-30 designation is simply not accurate enough.
