I bought a Caseco Core 360 universal mount for about $30 and replaced it with this one that works much better. This magnet is much larger but flatter so the phone lays flat. It's also strong enough to be used in a flexible plastic phone case, so you don't have to stick anything directly to your phone. It's pretty solid so it's easy to stick it on your dashboard without fiddling with it. My car (Hyundai Santa Fe) doesn't have much space on the dashboard, but using this air vent mount is perfect. Suggest getting in the car and holding the phone where you can see it well to see if there is enough space to set up the base station. In this case the ventilation is right where I need the phone so it's perfect. The glued-on Core 360 grip had to be lowered significantly lower - very awkward. I am not happy with this and am having trouble removing it. With the YOSH mount, there is no sticking to the car; just a nice fit for the vent. After a while: still the same feeling. I bought this mount for my daughter and another one for myself when I switched phones. Good product.
