When it works, it works great. Go through to get it working with macOS High Sierra (as detailed on the DisplayLink website) - also note that OS updates may turn it off entirely. The last update (10.13.4) did this. They say they reported it to Apple and we're waiting. Disappointing, but not entirely their fault. I'm just posting this so you know what you're getting into. If you want to keep software up to date, most likely it won't always "just work".
