My son is 5 years old and wears a size 6. I bought him an M and it fits well. The waist has elastic so it helps retain a little "extra" length of the pants. The mask is TERRIBLE. The eye holes/mesh aren't even close to his eyes and the entire head area is VERY tight. Uncomfortably tight. He is very disappointed that he cannot use the mask. However, he's obsessed with Spider-Man and there aren't any other good options for this character, so we're going to rescue him and figure out how to make a mask for him.
