I opted for a foam toothpaste and brush & my 3 year old has no interest in other toothbrushes and will fight us when it's time to brush her teeth but she has one light taste, nothing overwhelming or strong, our child loved using the toothpaste and also wanted to push the tip herself put it on my toothbrush as she was motivated and excited to make it. We were happy with the product. When you're done brushing your teeth, you don't have that overpowering smell of clean toothpaste in your mouth, but this toothpaste and toothbrush really motivated my kid to brush my teeth
