They stick really well and hold a lot of paint. I haven't cleaned any rollers since reading a suggestion that works great. Cover the tray and roller after use (I usually use a small garbage bag, just pop it in) and store in the fridge between breaks. I was hanging out in the fridge for a long time when something came up and I couldn't get back to my painting project. When I'm ready to tackle a project, I just take it out of the fridge and there's still wet paint in the tray and the roller is still ready and ready to go!
