[overall impression] Well, I'll say that this item looks good now that it's fully assembled and has some content. Putting this together you can see numerous imperfections in the color. [Bad] See photos. However, when you assemble it you can see some imperfections that look like rust, but it could just be a buildup of paint around the edges and the inclusion of a small hair in the paint. The welds seem sloppy to me, and the unfinished section of pipe used to line the tray just feels unfinished. [Good] You'll probably never notice any flaws once you start doing this. To be honest, the completely round and undamaged shelves partly make up for the bad color scheme. [Design Comments] Each shelf is supported by a tubular bar that runs the full length of the shelf and by two small 1" bars at opposite ends of the other cross bar. .(see 6th photo) Trays simply "sit" on the crossbars and are not attached in any way. The frame has a pivot point in the middle, similar to a keyboard stand. The frame is "closed" with a hook and eye (like the old screen doors). The entire stand disassembles in 5 seconds (or 1 second if you're trying to lift it from the bottom). pleasing.
