The product is very solid except for two BIG issues, one of which cost me $808.22, around a 15-inch -Late 2019 model to repair. MacBook Pro. The key problem with the case is that due to the "lock" on both sides of the case, you have to unlock (o LOCK) both sides at the same time. If this is not the case, or one corner is UNLOCKED (or LOCKED) before the other corner, you are putting undue stress on the screen/LCD. Stress from repetitive activities can lead to screen/display breakage. That's what happened to me last week. I took my Macbook to an Apple Certified Repair Facility and it cost me $808.22 for repair services and a new screen! I wish the case didn't have a "Double Lock" design. The rest of the case is very well made and robust. The second problem is related to the problem of removing the case from the laptop. It took about 5 minutes of careful maneuvering for the Apple repair shop to remove the protective case from the Macbook!
