It came as expected and was easy enough to assemble. This is a quality product for the money. After I assembled it and placed it by the window for the cats to happily jump on, my two 1 1/2 year old cats sniffed it for a minute, checked the inside of the bottom and that was it! I left it there for 3 days and no interest at all. I then moved it and placed it next to my makeshift scratching post to see if they wanted to climb on it and scratch my tree, but they didn't care. got it like kittens.
