Wish I could check the performance and quality of the stuff needed but not only were both tubes dry and unusable, the caulking gun itself was not working properly either because it had a damaged trigger. The spout cutter was also terrible and didn't cut all the way through the tube/nozzle provided, I had to use my own cutters. It wasn't a big deal because I have scissors, wire cutters and knives for cutting, but why make a caulking gun with a "knife cutter" when it won't cut. The Permatex was so dry when I cut off the tip that when I stuck a small screwdriver in it nothing came off my flat head. Unsuitable from the start. If I hadn't received a poorly made gun with hardened, dried out cartridges, I might actually have been able to do the repair I had in mind.
