I use it as an add-on to my Logitech Z906, so I ran an extra cable to the back of my den and connected the power to the remote switch. This is a POWERFUL SUBWOOFER. You need to adjust the settings and tilt it properly. It's not just about the powerful bass thunder that this device delivers like any large subwoofer, but also works in the background for films and music with a very powerful pressure. Note: Be sure to use a shielded accessory cable to avoid noise.
