Review on Convenience Concepts 8043391DFTW Bookshelf Driftwood by Robert Larris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to assemble

I was concerned reading reviews that it was difficult to assemble because I am disabled; My legs are about 50% worn out and I can't get up without holding on to something. I assembled it myself in about an hour and 15 minutes. The hardest part was putting it back in place after reassembling. The side panels don't really have enough strength for that. I managed it, but it wasn't easy - it's best to do it in stages - getting off the floor onto a piece of furniture like a sofa or chair, then getting more leverage and lifting again. I learned how to arrange all the parts according to the instructions and not assemble first to make sure everything is right (once I assembled something with the shelves upside down). The instructions are very clear, all the details are preserved. You will need a Phillips screwdriver, but all other tools are included. It doesn't really stand to use wood glue, but some is supplied so it's recommended to use it in the holes where the dowels go. I followed another reviewer's example and attached it to the wall with command strips. Works perfectly! If you want this bookshelf and are afraid to buy it because of negative reviews, buy it.
