(For reference, I drive an Infiniti Q50) This unit works very well when mounted on vertical air vents. It does three things at once that I haven't seen any other mount do at the same time: it charges my phone with MagSafe, it pivots and moves away from the vent for better visibility and heat protection, and it holds the device securely. with very little to not move. I've probably bought 5-7 different magnetic mounts and this is one of the best I've ever used. I'm using an iPhone 12 Pro with a third-party MagSafe case. Couldn't ask for much more.
