Review on 🖥️ Hauppauge 610 USB-Live 2 Analog Video Converter and Capture Device - Black/White by Lee Rodriguez

Bought to replace an old Hauppauge HDTVR850 USB drive that used to work but I can't find working software for it anymore. boy it was a mistake Came with a license key for the Hauppauge and winTV v10 capture apps but lo and behold the software is absolutely crappy and unusable. I got it to try and digitize some old VHS tapes. Regardless of the settings, the delay between the event on the input device and the display on the computer screen makes it impossible to perform actions in the menu. Maybe my VCR is dead? Can't tell because the video stream spurts about every three seconds and then throws an error message that says "Video lost, check HDMI connection" (NOT HDMI, THIS IS A COMPOSITE VIDEO ADAPTER). Buffering at all, and even on a computer with 28 CPU cores, 64GB of RAM and a $1,000 Quadro RTX card, the stream isn't buffered and plays correctly. It used to be burned by Hauppauge junk software, burned again. Completely useless junk. I tried to get VLC to use the device
