Review on Soluble Machine Embroidery Stabilizer Standing by Denise Davis

UPDATE: I LOVE this stabilizer! I ran off and went to my stash to get some Pellon 541. Working EXACTLY the same way (using tailor's chalk and a light table to center the "floating" fabric with 3M double sided tape) the center of the Pellon was COMPLETELY worn away and now I have a hole! Pellon is a quality product but not as durable as this one. By the way, both are washed off in the same way. This is my goto FSL stabilizer. ———— Original Review: This is a great product. I did the math and figured it would be cheaper to buy a roll and cut it to fit than to "float" the project . No, pre-cut sheets have the lowest cost per square inch. I can teach the "drum" of the stabilizer bar in the tire without breaking it. After sewing, it is completely washed off. Also, I can use (and reuse) double-sided permanent 3M tape around the perimeter of the embroidery area to attach the fabric, avoiding the much higher cost of a washable adhesive backing.
