To deactivate DFM and Auto Start/Stop. Works like a champ on my 2020 Silverado running 5.3. A bit pricey for what it does and there's no guarantee your lifts won't fail, but the mechanics at the Chevy dealership who replaced my lifts said they would so they wouldn't go to mine Trucks would have to return to do aerial work platforms. It does a few other things that might be useful in the future, like changing tire sizes, adjusting the throttle, and clearing codes. I bought hoping the truck wouldn't leave me and my family collapsed 9 hours from home as was the case due to the lift failure. Delivery was quick and installation was easy. Just watch the installation/programming video to make it easy.
