These are just adorable and I really need to order more for some of my plants on higher shelves that I neglect a little worse even than my lower ones. These are great though! How often you have to fill them up seems completely dependent on the moisture needs of your plants. The roots are going to pull from the porous terra Cotta whenever they're thirsty is my understanding and observation as well. I tried one out on watering day when the soil was dry and it was almost completely empty the next day. When I watered a plant deeply that day and then inserted, it hasn't hardly went down at all and it's been several days ago. These couldn't be any cuter and I love how easy they are to use and that they're taking care of my plants when I'm not being the best plant mom. 10/10 recommend!
