Easy to put on the car and easy to take off. I wouldn't leave it in the car as it's only meant to be worn when my son is practicing driving. I've read other reviews where it can ruin the car paint. I've had it for two weeks now and as I said I take it off when I'm not using it. Its magnet even withstands wind and rain. Evidence of the weather so far.
