I just completed my winter engine project and installed the mounting assembly when I was installing the filter cover I noticed chrome was peeling off in one of the mounting cutouts. There are obvious metal/dirt issues in this particular component that caused the chrome to fail. In addition, one of the round "nuts" for attaching the interchangeable tip is missing.
