I had my husband try it on when it arrived and it was really roomy! After 1 wash in cold water and air drying, it almost didn't get over it. Having to order the pants SEPARATELY and having spent much more than is reasonable on a pair of pajamas, I was very disappointed. If they were snug or tight before washing I would return them. Interestingly, the bottom part didn't quite fit and wouldn't sit!
