Review on πŸͺ Prism Synapse Parafoil Kite - Dual Line by Joel Briggs

Revainrating 4 out of 5

One steering line on each kite was 6 inches longer than the other.

I bought two of these kites for my girls. Although the kites appear to be very well built and strong, each kite has a steering line. were about 6 inches longer than the others, resulting in the kite deploying immediately at launch. Once I could get the kite airborne, I had to keep my arms at different lengths to maintain vertical flight. This made kite flying impossible for my girls. The odd thing is that on one kite the red line was 6 inches too long and on the other the blue line was too long. Based on the instructions, I adjusted the end of the braid on a long line, but that took 6 inches. To adjust, I had to bury the knot up to the control handle on both kites. The manual says the lines stretch a little, but 6 inches of difference? More of a quality control issue than anything else. While the girls were learning to fly, I survived several accidents. I personally have a Prism Tantrum 220 and the thing is perfect but too good for the little ones. But I prefer small dragons. They are very fast in flight. air and so much fun flying. Aside from the jagged lines, I didn't have any issues with either kite. I highly recommend them for beginner parafoil kite pilots. A very good and fun purchase. I have 6 acres of water but remember you need plenty of space to fly multiple of these kites. Enjoy!
