Review on πŸ‘ Heart Felt Wool Dryer Balls (4 Pack XL): Natural Reusable Non-Toxic Fabric Softener by Nicole Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was skeptical but have now sold

I've read about fluffing pillows after washing with tennis balls using this and other methods recommended by Consumer Reports. Tried a pillow. It really helped with fiberfill pads clumping up after washing. [Of course, a lot depends on the design of the fiber-filled pillow and its quality.] What really attracted me was trying it on everyday items like shirts, towels, etc. It's actually gotten fluffier, not as heavy. I hate fabric softeners as they [1] get in the way of cleaning with each subsequent use, [2] leave marks on the fabric - try wiping the glasses with a soft cloth dipped in fabric softener, and for me [3] got it I found I was allergic to linen fabric softener. [I've used all sorts of perfumed detergents and never had a problem - so I suspect I'm allergic to a micro-layer of conditioner on clothes] Although I'm providing 6 of these balls I think this is overkill - unless They did extra large loads. They recommended using 3 or more balls for a medium load. I've tried three - it rattles a lot in the dryer as the balls hit the drum. It annoyed me. I tried two, they made fluffiness and a lot less noise. But remember that they make the dryer louder. If this is a problem for you, don't take it. A good storage bag for unused balls is also very nice.
