More Realistic Measurements for This Skirt: This product says it fits a waist circumference of 55cm-88cm (21.65-34.65 inch). This is closer to 24 inches with no stretch and about 30 inches stretched to a comfortable level. The bottom edge of the lining (under the skirt) measures approximately 40 inches. From my measurements, this is the standard for the entire lining. This lining falls approximately 16 inches. It's just over a foot. With tape you can get 17 or 18 inches. The edges have all been knitted over. They are also not finished properly which can make this skirt not last long, especially if it has been in the washing machine before. I usually wear size 12/14 (depending on brand and cut). With a corset my waist is closer to 31 inches. Even through the tightened corset made of thick material with steel bones, I felt my organs being squeezed by this skirt. My buttocks and my thighs too. This skirt fits a size 4 to 8 - maybe a 10 if you can bare squeezing your organs. This would be most comfortable in a size 6. If you are not a size 4 to 8 and are looking for something that can only be worn a few times and will always be hand washed, this skirt is not for you. Even if you are, you can find something better.
