Review on 👞 Crosshatch Gray Whitmor Over The Door Shoe Shelves - 26 Sections by Andy Mitts

I rarely have a product that just doesn't do what it's supposed to. This was one of them. I had high hopes for this storage solution, it's made out of good vinyl not cheap stuff like the others and has gotten some good reviews. BUT the hooks failed almost immediately. They are not wide enough or strong enough to support the unit at the front. Immediately after loading the shelf with shoes, it fell off the hooks. The hooks are also too thick so I couldn't close my closet door without chewing on the frame or the door. This stand really didn't do the job. I think if you mainly had lightweight women's sandals, or maybe only one shoe could fit in each slot, you could get away with this, but it just kind of didn't work for us. Boxed and sent back.
